Third graders got to participate in the “hot house” evacuation simulation and then learned all about the fire truck and talked with members of the HAFB FD.
Students in pre-school through grade 2 enjoyed meeting Sparky and members of the HAFB FD during an assembly Friday during which we read a story together and learned what a fire fighter looks like and sounds like if they have to come inside to rescue someone. The children were encouraged to go home and talk with their families about an escape plan for the family. Did they do their homework?
